Why nearby beaches differ
Two nearby beaches can behave very differently because they do not receive the same energy in the same way. Orientation, headlands, bottom shape, tide response, and wind exposure all change how a swell arrives and how it breaks, which is why distance alone tells you very little about whether two spots will work on the same day.
