Legal notice
Atalaia.gal is an editorial and coastal-forecast product. By using the site you accept these terms. If you disagree, do not use the forecast or related APIs.
Operator
atalaia.gal and the A Marea product are operated by Atalaia. Contact: hello@atalaia.gal.
Personal use of the forecast
The A Marea forecast (screens, copy, numbers, JSON, and any derivative) is for personal use through Atalaia’s own interface.
You may not copy, scrape, republish, redistribute, mirror, or incorporate the forecast (or aggregated values derived from it) into another product, site, app, commercial newsletter, or comparison service without prior written permission from Atalaia.
Technical endpoints (/api/forecast and similar) are not an open public API: they exist to power our UI. Automated access without our explicit consent is prohibited.
Weather sources
Atalaia combines and interprets data from public sources and providers (including MeteoGalicia, Open-Meteo, IHM, buoys). Our model layer, presentation, and editorial criteria are our own. You may not present Atalaia’s output as your own forecast.
Editorial content
Texts, editorial maps, place cards, and Atlas of the Atlantic material are protected. Short quotations with a link to the original page are fine; do not copy whole pages or databases.
Disclaimer
The forecast is decision support, not a guarantee of conditions in the water. Always use your own judgement and local observation. Atalaia is not liable for damages arising from use or inability to use the service.
Enforcement
If we detect scraping, republication, or unauthorised commercial use, we may block access, demand removal of the content, and take legal action.
